Bus Service
In 1948, Harrington’s Bus Service began operating from it's base at Ardgroom Post Office. It was established by Dan R Harrington as part of a wider hackney service and continues to remain part of our family business.
Beara-Cork Bus Service
Route 231 -Harrington’s Beara to Cork connect has two scheduled services per day, seven days a week.
The bus departs from Castletownbere, opposite SuperValu, at 08:00am and 1:00pm weekdays and at 10:00a.m and 4:30pm on Sundays and Bank holidays.
The bus departs from Parnell Place in Cork City, near the Bus Eireann Bus Station, at the junction of Parnell Place and Lower Oliver Plunkett Street, at 1:00p.m and 6:00pm sharp weekdays and at 1:00 p.m and 7.30pm on Sundays and Bank holidays .
Journey time is approximately 2 hours.
